Who remembers these crisps then? I remember when I had my pocket money that these crisps would always be on the cards as they were cheaper than regular crisps. 20p worth of penny sweets, a comic and a packet of these crisps. Wish they would bring them back. What crisps would you like brought back?

I loved piglets! The fish & chip snacks were great and jaws tomato flavour in the shape of shark teeth, bitza pizza were one of my favourites too, actually I just love crips really ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyone remember bobs? Or smiths tubes?
Tempest
I can remembere all of them, but loved piglets and bitza pitza. Anyone remember Space Invader crisps
DeleteHehe! Brilliant. I couldn't get enough of Piglets. Didn't they a Baked Bean flavour? Whatever happened to all those amazing crisps? Chicken In The Basket, Hot Dog flavour Outer Spacers, Beef Puffs...the list goes on. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories.
I knew it wasn't a dream!
ReplyDeleteFor years and years I've been asking my friends if they could remember crisps called 'Piglets' and all I got was a blank face.
I remember most of my packet of piglets was always broken, rarely would I get one intact!
So excited to see them again, thanks for posting :)
I remember all of these is there anywhere that in could purchase any of these especially bones xxxxx thank for your help in this matter xxxxxc
ReplyDeleteI love love LOVED piglets and pizza bites. Who remembers Chicken Whickers (or chickens knickers as me and my sister used to call them!), Farmer Browns (I think that was what they were called) and Hedgehog crisps. Companies need to bring these crisps back, they were EPIC!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe used to bunk off school and go to the swimming baths. We'd always call to the butchers afterwards and get a hot soup and large bun then get a few packets of beef Puffs, scoop the inside of the bun out and pour in the Puffs for a sandwich! Happy days.
ReplyDeletei love baked bean flavoured piglets! what i would do for a bag of these... yummy
ReplyDeleteMy mum once bought me an entire box of bean Piglets from the shop. They were my fav, though I liked lots of crisps.
ReplyDeleteI remember Fish & Chips much later than most. They were absent for a while. My local Farmfoods had a brand, I think this may have been early 2000s in Fife. Very flavoured.
There was also Chicken & Chips, or a name like that. They were cut like chickens in chicken flavour. This was 1980s, perhaps 1990s.
There was also another brand, with a name something like curry and chips. These were straw crisps. The bag unusually opened long ways and was designed like a newspaper. It may have been a local make. But these were late 1980s, perhaps early 1990s.
